Biography

Atescan Ates joined Greymore as a part-time legal assistant in the Family and Immigration department at the Tottenham office while completing his studies. After graduating, he transitioned into property law and now works full-time in the conveyancing department. In this role, he has been actively involved in conveyancing transactions, landlord and tenant disputes, and property-related litigation.

Beyond his work at Greymore, Atescan is a member of the Human Rights Commission of the European Bars Federation (Fédération des Barreaux d’Europe - FBE), contributing to discussions and initiatives aimed at strengthening legal protections and fundamental rights across Europe.

Outside of his professional life, Atescan co-owns an amateur football club. His personal interests include football, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.

Atescan specialises in property law and civil litigation, providing legal advice and representation across a range of real estate and dispute resolution matters. His practice covers both residential and commercial transactions, property disputes, and landlord-tenant issues.


  • Conveyancing (Residential & Commercial): Atescan assists clients in handling all aspects of property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, and refinancing for both residential and commercial properties. He advises clients on title investigations, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance, ensuring smooth and legally sound property transfers.

  • Property Litigation: Atescan represents clients in a variety of property disputes, including boundary issues, breaches of contract and property ownership issues. His expertise extends to resolving disputes related to property development, construction defects, and professional negligence in real estate transactions.

  • Landlord & Tenant Law: Atescan advises landlords and tenants on their legal rights and obligations, covering matters such as lease agreements, rent recovery, possession claims, service charge disputes, and eviction proceedings. He is skilled in both contentious and non-contentious matters, helping clients navigate complex tenancy laws and resolve disputes efficiently.

  • Civil Litigation:
    Atescan has a strong background in general civil litigation, representing individuals and businesses in contractual disputes, debt recovery, professional negligence claims, and tort cases. He is experienced in handling cases through negotiation, mediation, and court proceedings, always striving to achieve the best outcomes for his clients.
