Biography

Lal joined Greymore as a Trainee in the City of London office and is currently a Solicitor in the Commercial Dispute Resolution and Litigation Department.

As a newly qualified solicitor, she brings a fresh and dynamic perspective to her practice, underpinned by an LL.M. in Intellectual Property. Her work predominantly focuses on dispute resolution, contested probate and intellectual property, equipping her with a solid foundation to support clients through complex legal challenges. She is dedicated to providing tailored advice and ensuring her clients navigate legal matters with confidence and ease.

Outside of her personal life, Lal enjoys reading, travelling with friends and family, and skiing.

She assists clients in navigating intellectual property disputes and helps safeguard their creative and commercial assets.

  • Dispute Resolution and Property Litigation: Lal specializing in handling contentious matters, with a focus on property and probate disputes. Her experience includes advising on will challenges, disputes over the validity of wills, and cases involving improper administration of estates. She also handles complex property disputes, such as forfeiture claims, lease disputes, and claims under the under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TOLATA).

  • Civil Litigation: In civil litigation, Lal represents clients on a variety of contractual disputes, breach of contract claims, and partnership disputes. She is experienced in advising clients on resolving conflicts effectively, whether through negotiation, mediation, or court proceedings, while ensuring practical and tailored solutions.

  • Advocacy: Lal has also developed a keen interest in undertaking her own advocacy. She has advocated and represented several Claimants and Defendants in Court.
